So what do you think about what I said to Susan yesterday and her reply?

UPDATE: Yesterday Susan called me (we made plans for today - Sunday) Any way she said that she is always tired. So this was a perfect lead in. I said to her "You are tired because you dont eat. You think you eat a lot, but you dont" and she replied "Yeh I know I dont eat right"

So what do you think about what I said to her and her reply?

STORY TO REFRESH MEMORY OR FOR NEW PEOPLE: One more thing about my friend Susan. Last night when we were talking I asked her if she has breakfast and she said no. I asked Susan what she eats for lunch and she said just a sandwich and maybe a couple of cookies and then dinner (main course, vegetables and desert). Susan said if she does have breakfast it is just a fruit and sometimes cereal.

Also I have never heard any one ever telling her "Where do you put it" and I have gotten together with her many times with other people where we ate with the people we got together with. When she came to my house for the holidays she ate a little more but no one said when she was talking about food with them "Where do you put it"

What I am trying to get at is she thinks her appetite is big and she can eat endlessly and not gain weight. What she fails to realize is that she is not eating a lot. A lot is sitting down and eating a lasagna enough for two or more people and french fries and chocolate cake - this she does not do.So how is she overeating. Having an egg white omelet with three pancakes is not overeating if you did not have breakfast and it is considered an early dinner.

One more thing: I have never ever heard any one ever telling her "Where do you put it". She was at my house for a holiday where I had nine people over and she was talking to them when we were eating dinner (we were sitting at the dining room table) and she said "I like to eat" and the other people said "Me too". AND NO ONE EVER SAID TO HER "I am watching and seeing how much you are eating and I dont understand how you dont gain weight"

Also she never eats lunch with anyone at work. We have a mutual friend who said "Any time we ask her to have lunch with us she says no" so evidentially she eats at her desk alone.
And I have gone on vacation with her and no one ever said that.

If you saw a woman being assautled by a man

would you intervene by helping her and calling the police? Or would you assume it is none of your business and not bother? Why or why not?

My answer?... "Not At All"...

Many times in life, I've gone out of my way to do something "nice" or "right", and many times, I've somehow reaped less than the most desireable outcome from it...

but right when I'm starting to think shitty about it all, I remind myself that we don't do good deeds FOR the "reward"... we do them because it needed to be done... and IF, for some reason, we don't get the Nobel Prize for it, so what??? We still know we did the right thing, and that's always been quite enough, to soothe my savage spirit...

Hell, I'm my own worst critic, anyway... so if I am pleased with my work, I could care less about receiving accolades from others for it....

Update: October 30, 2009.
hrdman hit the nail on the head.... Even if NOBODY notices your good deed or actions, at least YOU can go to sleep, knowing you did what was right & good to do. Besides, deep down inside, even the worst of haters will HAVE to admit to themselves, that you did the right thing, are somehow better than they are, and just knowing that they have to eat that bile right back down and choke on it, is MORE than enough satisfaction, for me...

***Have you ever...?***

It has been said that no good deed goes unpunished. Have you ever reached out to help someone, only to have this seemingly innocent gesture come back to bite you in the a*%? Did this make you think twice the next time you saw someone in need?

Anyone like old school gangster rap?

Like NWA or Geto Boys. They just don't make music like they used you.

i still like today's rap but they talk too much about bling and money. Old school rap didn't care about money, it was all about fucking bitches and ho's and about being tough.
