Birth control pill question.

With the progestin pills, I have been told I have to take it at the same time everyday, otherwise it wouldn't be that effective.

How do you make sure you remember you take it at the same time everyday? How do you remember to take it everyday?

At bed time since I would go to bed at the same time every night. Nowadays, if need be, set your alarm on your cellphone for everyday at the same time as a reminder to you to take it. Personally, I've never had a problem remembering taking a pill that was so important to take.

When I was on the pill, I used to take it as soon as I woke up - it became my routine and happened autimatically.

If for whatever reason I didn't take it straight away I'd forget it comepletely.

Brain is easy to train, just tell yourself it's important, just before you go to bed and it'll be stored in your memory automatically.

if you have a cell, set the alarm. also set an alarm at home and buy a watch that has an alarm. pick a time of day that is the most convenient for you to take the pill.
