I have a question about birth control pills. I am on TriNessa....

I have been taking my pills every day but my periods have been off, so I got it this past week and took the green placebo pills, but I still have it and I have to start my cycle of pills over from the beginning again (the white pills). \

So I am just wondering if this is going to screw up how the pills are working? Or it doesn't matter if I am taking a new pill (non placebo) on the last day of my period (because I want to start on a Sunday that is technically "after" my period cause I am almost done so I can get back on track again)?
Thanks.

I'm on TriNessa too; usually when I start my new pack it's at the end of the period for that month. What I was told by my doctor when I asked her, was that because this is a hormone treatment, it takes a few days for the hormones to get into the system and start working--which is why you don't start a period on the green placebos for a few days. Take the white ones as scheduled and all should be good.
