LIFE is the existence we have, birth to death. At times it seems we are put on this earth to suffer; "happiness" is illusive. We fall in love with wrong people. We break our backs for our children, and when they grow up, they break our hearts. If there is a wrong way to do something, we usually try that way first. We seek, we seek, we seek, but lofty goals illude us.

Then suddenly we are old, and finally realize we have been spinning our wheels for years. So we say silly things, like "where did the time go?" -or- "I'm not the man I once was, but I'm as good ONCE as I ever was." -or- "The old grey mare ain't what she used to be." So we get our scrapbooks up to date, visit a Senior Center, and try to leave the space we occupied in good condition upon departure.
