Polygamy
Polygamy / Married Life / 5:03 PM - Friday May 16, 2008
A Career Man (Male, 46-55, Medical / Dental) asked:

Based on a previous post-

Why is polygamy always one man and several women? Why can't it be one woman and several men?

Women - would you like polygamy if you could have several husbands?

Update: May 16, 2008.
Thanks to all of you who responded. It was fun reading your answers. I only wish I was allowed more stars because so many of you had great answers. And BTW - I would never want to be one of the men in that sortof relationship. I am confident but I don't think I could deal with the jealousy - Just being honest.

I can see why some men might like one man and several women in a marriage.

But one woman and several men?! She'd be run ragged putting the loo seat down, cleaning up after them and fighting for attention at bedtime, if she had the energy after seperating the blokes during their fight over the TV control.

No, I couldn't stand being responsible for several men!

LOL, I love the responses! I think it would be kinda neat to have several husbands, but we would have to have specific chores for them to do, one for cooking, one for cleaning, one or two for sex, one for fixing things....But if I had more of the man that I have, I'd go crazy!

That depends ...

Do they all have paying jobs?
Can I chose them myself?
Does each one of them do a specific household chore?
Can I have a different one each night?
Do I have to bear children for all of them?
Are they all hot looking?

MUAH!!!!!!!!!!!

;)

Frankly, yes. I have yet to meet one man who can fulfill my needs. I have no idea why this is not more common, except that men are not emotionally strong enough to handle this type of relationship.
