I don't have kids.

In general, I do wonder why people have so many kids. I think some came from large families and this is what they are used to. Some, well, they are just irresponsible. I know people who have kids from different men and... I don't know. It's not my job to judge them but I do wonder about people's reasoning out of curiosity.

"Accidents" within a marriage situation, well, that happens. As long as the parents treat that little miracle with love. I know I will sound extremely conservative when I say there shouldn't be "accidents" among singles. When I was single and not a Christian, I knew that if I got pregnant, I would not have an abortion but how irresponsible is it for singles to be having sex and risking getting pregnant? Sex can make babies, hel-LO! We've become a world where, for the most part, sex has become an itch to scratch, not a God-given gift for married couples... "Relax, it's just sex" is such an irresponsible and emotionally immature stance. How about, "Relax, you're pregnant from some guy you don't even have a name or phone number for and now you just need to make the decision whether to end a life or do the responsible and mature thing and have that baby"?

Sorry, stepping off soap box now...

I'm one of nine kids and grew up in a neighborhood where we were not unusual nor were we the biggest family. I have three kids and let God decide when they were conceived. After that we took care not to have more. It is a personal choice. There is no right answer. If you are a good parent, you have every right to choose the number. If you are a bad parent, don't like kids, don't want kids, don't have more/any kids.

both of our sons were planned

if you can afford 4 kids, then it is okay.....when we first got married I hoped we would have had 3 or 4...but finances did not allow it so we only had 2

If they can afford to raise them and don't try to force me to have any, it's their business.
