Ladies,

1. How many of you read magazines like Vogue or relationship books on how to attract men, or for dating advice?

2. What is your favorite dating book that you think has good advice and follow?

Vogue actually doesn't have relationship advice. :) Cosmo/Marie Claire/Glamour do, but the high end fashion ones like Vogue/Harper's/Elle don't really do many dating articles.

If I pick up a glossy, sure I'll read the dating articles. I find the "What is he thinking?" personal experience ones interesting, but I don't take it all that seriously. I've never read a dating book, whenever I've read the backcover of one, I end up rolling my eyes. It may work help others and that's great, but I don't believe anyone is from Mars or Venus and I understood "He's not that into you" before I heard about the book.

I think all of that is a bunch of crap. I don't buy into any of it because it involves a lot of playing games. Why would anyone when they can come here and find out what men REALLY want.

I dont read any of these. I don't believe any of it. If you are a man looking for advice on dating check out the website askmen dot com. I look in there to get pointers on how man work. Good luck.

Yep- Comso, Glamour...ivillage.com is also pretty good, but it just takes stuff from those magazines.

No books specifically on dating, but I've seen excerpts of SuperFlirt from Tracey Cox and it seems to have some good stuff.
