Does "Smooth-Away" hair remover work?

I see them taking soft long hair off of their arms (even that can be BS...it's a commercial)
Does it work on the stubble on legs that we usually shave?
I know one of y'all have tried it :-)

We tested the Smooth Away as part of the Best & Worst Infomercials story for the October 2009 issue. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite the miracle product we'd hoped for, receiving only 2.5 stars out of 5. It removed hair form legs and arms with some success, but took a lot longer than shaving. It was largely ineffective in bikini and underarm areas and irritated testers with sensitive skin. Please check the following link to find our test results on other infomercial products.

I got one and it sucked. Its just like a piece of sand paper you rub on your skin. It removed very little hair and left my skin red and dry.

It works some, but it does not completely remove the hair, you still have stubble, and it does not remove long hair, it just twists it and mangles it. Stick with shaving or waxing.
