Introverts out? / Dating / 1:55 PM - Wednesday March 23, 2005 Back To Top
A Mr. Nice Guy (Male, Detroit, 26-28) asked:

I am an introvert. Does this disqualify me from the dating world? This is my personality, so it is hard for me to follow the typical dating advice which basically amounts to "become an extrovert". However, women confuse introversion with a lack of confidence, so it stands to reason that this advice is in fact my only option if I wish to date. P.S. I have tried internet dating to no avail.

Any perfectionists out there? Are your gf's perfect? How are you appeased? What do you expect from a girl that you are dating? What is your advice to someone else who is dating a perfectionist? This question can also pertain to those dating perfectionists, themselves. Thanks for the advice!

A Sweet Sarah (Female, Los Angeles, 26-28) asked:

Hi everyone, i really need some advice. Here's my Situation.
I've been dating this guy since July on and off. When i 1st met him, i though he was a nice, quite and decent guy, but i found out that while he was talking and dating me, he was talking to other girls and take them home for one night stands. And he slept with his ex 2 times. So, while talking/dating me he slept with 4 girls since i've been dating him. For a week now, he's been calling me asking me to hang out and i want to but part of me is so scared of getting hurt, because knowing of all the stuff he did, and i know he'll do it again even though he said that he wants to go on the right track and do the right thing. Anyway, now he's telling me that he wants us to start fresh, what should i do? Let him go or what? He didn't ask me what i want. We had this conversation on email. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

2 wonderful girls and 1 dilemna / Moving On / 10:25 PM - Tuesday September 21, 2004 Back To Top
A Jock (Male, Minneapolis, 22-25, Student) asked:

Girls and Guys, I need some serious advice. I dated a girl for 7 years, since I was 16. We broke up a a little over a year and half ago. She is a wonderful girl and I can actually understand her wanting to try dating other people. I was a wreck for awhile. I got over it mostly and started dating another girl like 5 months later. She was great too, but I got annoyed by her at times. I still thought about my ex quite a bit and talked to her once in awhile too. Well, my ex somehow came back into the picture and now wants to be with me. I broke up with the new girl and have been going crazy thinking about it. I know I to try it again with my ex, but I don't know what to do about girl I had dating. They are both such great women. I can picture myself with either. There are reasons to be with both. My question is, How can I make a decision about which woman I want to be with? I know it is hard to give advice considering you know nothing about the two women, but what are some general things to consider? Thanks for any advice

Best Dating advice / Dating / 11:03 AM - Wednesday January 30, 2008 Back To Top

A Hip-Hop Guy (Male, Los Angeles, 29-35, Who Cares?) asked:

So recently, there was discussion if women gave bad dating advice or good one, so I decided to ask a different kind of question:

Men, what was the best dating advice you gotten from a woman?

Women, what was the best dating advice you gotten from a man?

I'll share mine later

Update: January 30, 2008.
The best advice I got was back in 1999. This female friend made me promise her, that I would talk to a lot of female since she believed I can get a girlfriend easily, but I had to take the risk & talk to them. Which was good since I needed that push, & I always found women very scary to talk to.
